Youth @ St Laurence’s (YSL)
There are a variety of groups that meet during the week which are listed below
XZone
A group that meets during a Wednesday lunchtime (1.30pm) at Church Stretton School in room W5. It is a short but fun session exploring the issues of the day.
ELEV8 youth group
Our aim is to build relationships & explore the Christian faith through media, discussion, socials & residentials.
Meets Friday @ the Parish Centre. Now divided into appropriate groups:
Yrs 7-9 meet 6.30pm-7.45pm, Yrs 10+ meet 8pm- 9.15pm
DATES FOR ELEV8, SPRING/SUMMER TERM ARE AS FOLLOWS:
January 13th/20th/27th February 10th/24th March 2nd/9th/16th/23rd
April 20th/27th May 4th/11th/18th/25th June 15th/22nd/29th July 6th
Youthzone
Meets during the Sunday morning 11.05 service and is bible teaching related to what is going on in church but more easily accessible for young people.
Soul Survivor

In 2010 some of the young people went to the Soul Survivor Christian festival at the Bath and West show ground. Here is a video of their experience.

If you are aged 11-21, we would love to meet with you. If you contact Sarah, she can have an informal discussion on the type of group that you may be suited to. Come and join us for a time of learning about Jesus in a fun and interactive way and find out how the bible is still as relevant today as it has always been.
