Women’s Bible Study
In the Owen Room, Parish Centre, every Friday from 9.30am -10.30am.
This is a small meeting open to all women. There are currently 7 of us and we meet together to find out what the Bible is saying about a wide variety of subjects.
Sometimes we focus on a particular book of the Bible and sometimes we focus on a Bible Character. Recently we have had a number of meetings with a ‘one meeting’ focus which suits us all when people are on holiday and miss some Fridays. We have also looked at some of the ‘sayings and teachings’ of Jesus.
The meeting is led by any one of the women on a volunteer basis. Everyone is welcome to participate in the discussions, and queries and questions often arise. All views and thoughts are talked about and discussed. We close with prayer, followed by tea/coffee and biscuits at 10.30a.m.
Every woman is welcome at our Bible Study – you don’t have to be a church member, just come along, there is no charge.
