Parents and toddlers
Our group gives a warm welcome to all parents and carers with their toddlers and babies, as well as those with bumps! We meet in the main hall in the Parish Centre, opposite St Laurence’s church, from 10am to noon every Thursday during term-time.
Come and catch up with friends, or make some new ones, exchange stories or ideas and maybe pick-up some top tips! We provide space for children to explore new activities, or favourite toys, and interact with each other. We have DBS checked adults on hand to engage in play or provide a friendly ear to chat to.
At around 10:45am we enjoy coming together to sit at tables and share a snack together (high chairs are also available). At 11:45am we finish our session with a fun singing time.
All the family is welcome for the suggested donation of £1 per session per family!
We provide a wide and varied range of toys, equipment and activities each week which often include:
- Dedicated baby area (always available)
- Play dough
- Messy/sensory play
- Books
- Ride-on toys
- Puzzles
- Cars
- Dolls house
- Train set
- Craft activity
- Home area
- And lots more!

Summer Meet-up 2024 Dates
Over the summer holidays we have suggested various outside venues where you might like to meet when Toddlers is not on , but these are not Parish-led events. Children are always the responsibility of their parent/carer and you are welcome to bring any older siblings. You might also like to bring a picnic to enjoy with friends if there are no facilities available. Pease see our Facebook Page for up-to-date information.
25th July 11am Rushbury Playground. Parking at Village Hall, SY6 7DS.
1st August 11am Meet at Cardingmill Valley by stream near Car Park Hut.
8th August 11am Brooksbury Playgound, off Churchill Road, Church Stretton.
15th August 11am Wistanstow Playground. Parking at Village Hall, SY7 8DQ
22nd August 11am Batch Valley, All Stretton. ///hillsides.saving.only
29th August 11am Meet at Discovery Centre play area, Craven Arms (or cafe if wet).
