We have a Parish safeguarding officer, Chrissie Pepler, who works with the Churchwardens and the Parochial Church Council to ensure that our safeguarding policy is implemented and regularly reviewed.

Our Parish Safeguarding Policy “Promoting a Safer Church”

The Church of Englands’s Safeguarding e-manuel, serves as the primary reference point for safeguarding policy and practice.

All paid and volunteer workers are recruited using the Safer Recruitment process, using guidelines provided by the Diocese of Hereford.

Safeguarding awareness training can be provided for all volunteers through the Diocese of Hereford. For further information, please ask Chrissie Pepler, details above.

The document Characteristics of a healthy and safe church culture has been embraced by the PCC and the expectations outlined there apply to everyone in the church.

The Code of Safer Working Practice is used by all paid workers and volunteers to guide them in their interactions with others and to keep us all safe.
