Foodbank Referrals

Foodbank Referrals

At Stretton Foodbank we allow clients to self-refer when they need our help. This covers an initial period of four weekly visits for food.

After the initial period we then require a referral from an agency that is helping them with the underlying reason why they came to the Foodbank in the first place. This is to ensure that we encourage clients to get the support they need, during which time the Foodbank will continue to provide them with the food that they need.

Who can refer someone to Foodbank?

We work with a large number of professional organisations who refer clients to us. The list is contained in the form below. If you are a new client, speak to us during your initial self-refer period if you are unsure.

Referring clients to the Foodbank

The form below provides a quick and safe way for referring agencies to refer clients to food bank. This also allows us to gather the information we need to continue the process.

Once you’ve referred a client

Once you have made your referral you will receive an automatic acknowledgement via the email address you give us. Upon receipt, please tell the client to attend the Foodbank on the following Friday afternoon.

You will only be contacted by phone if there is an issue with the referral.
