Ways to give towards the work of St Laurence's Church
Here are some ways you can give towards the work of St Laurence’s Church. If you want to give towards the work of either All Saints Church or St Michael’s Church please go to their giving pages.
1. By card
2. By standing order
Please could you consider using the Parish Giving Scheme, rather that setting up a standing order, or amending an existing one? Further details can be found in the By direct debit section immediately below.
Please set up your standing order online using St Laurence’s bank details, then advise our Treasurer Graham Vince by email about your donation.
Alternatively, please download a standing-order form. Once you have completed it, please send the form to your bank. If you pay income tax, please refer to our gift aid section.
3. By direct debit - Parish Giving Scheme

4. By BACS
Donations can be made directly into St Laurence’s bank account by BACS, using the adjacent bank details. Once you’ve made your donation, please advise our Treasurer Graham Vince by email about your donation.
Warning message – online banking software We bank with CAF Bank which means some banking software can’t verify our details, so just ignore the warning message you may see.
5. By cheque
Please make your cheque payable to “Church Stretton PCC” and post it to the Parish Centre. If you pay income tax, please read about Gift Aid. There may be a delay in your cheques clearing as we will be paying in cheques less often than we used to.
6. Charities aid foundation or stewardship services
Please make vouchers payable to “Church Stretton PCC” and put it in the bags during the church services, or hand to the church office in the Parish Centre.
A note about gift aid (for standing order/BACS/cheque giving)
Donating through gift aid means Stretton Parish can claim an extra 25p for every £1 you give without it costing you any extra.
If you have already completed a Stretton Parish Gift Aid declaration form then any gifts made by standing order, BACS or cheque will automatically be covered.
If you haven’t yet and you’re a UK tax payer, please download a Gift Aid form. The form explains if you are eligible to give under gift aid. Please return the completed form to the church office in the Parish Centre, marked for the attention of the “Gift Aid Secretary”.
