Parents and toddlers
Our group gives a warm welcome to all parents and carers with their toddlers and babies, as well as those with bumps! We meet in the main hall in the Parish Centre, opposite St Laurence’s church, from 10am to noon every Thursday during term-time.
Come and catch up with friends, or make some new ones, exchange stories or ideas and maybe pick-up some top tips! We provide space for children to explore new activities, or favourite toys, and interact with each other. We have DBS checked adults on hand to engage in play or provide a friendly ear to chat to.
At around 10:45am we enjoy coming together to sit at tables and share a snack together (high chairs are also available). At 11:45am we finish our session with a fun singing time.
All the family is welcome for the suggested donation of £1 per session per family!
We provide a wide and varied range of toys, equipment and activities each week which often include:
- Dedicated baby area (always available)
- Play dough
- Messy/sensory play
- Books
- Ride-on toys
- Puzzles
- Cars
- Dolls house
- Train set
- Craft activity
- Home area
- And lots more!
